$850 + GST | $300 non-refundable retainer is due at the time of booking with the remainder due 7 days before the workshop.
June 1st 2019 from 1pm-9pm in the Canmore/Banff area.
2 Live Shoots where you will learn how to guide clients into poses that allow them to interact naturally and capture authentic moments. We will shoot side by side and you will be able to see my session workflow from beginning to end.
Classroom time: we will cover marketing tips, attracting your ideal client, styling the entire family, and client workflow from my first interaction to last contact. I am an open book, so come prepared with questions! If we have time we will also touch on image processing and workflow.
Session #1: A cozy indoor maternity session at the Airbnb where I will teach you posing, lighting, and connecting with your clients to allow them to be vulnerable yet comfortable during intimate moments. You will learn how shoot a variety of images in a small space.
Session #2: We will head outside before sunset to capture a sweet family with a beautiful mountain backdrop. We will adventure around in the grass, throw rocks, get dirty, play games, and capture the family as raw and authentically as possible. You will learn how to control the flow of a family session and redirect when little ones have had enough or don’t want to participate. You will also learn how to connect with clients, engage children, pose/guide your family, and encourage them to be vulnerable to allow you to capture raw emotion and images that they will cherish for a lifetime.
A casual pizza dinner will be served.
A private facebook group will be available for the attendees to connect and interact before and after the workshop.
Lodging is not included in the workshop cost, however you are more than welcome to bunk with an attendee and join me for wine and great conversation at the Airbnb following our sunset family session. This is a wonderful chance to connect with other photographers!
There will be a limit of 6 attendees to allow for an intimate day of learning.
You must have transportation to the Canmore/Banff Area.
Attendees must be familiar with manual mode.
