The Green Family Film

Whytecliff Adventure Session | Vancouver Family Photographer

It’s been a long winter my friends. Even longer with a full year of Covid madness. So when I had the opportunity to breathe in salty ocean air and escape the snow for a weekend, I was overjoyed! I met the Green Family in West Vancouver for a beautiful morning of adventuring the coastline and enjoying lots of laughs. We planned an early morning sunrise session, but the rain had other plans for us! While we held off a few hours for the rain to let up, we were met with a few challenges – the tide was high and we were limited to one small area, the BRIGHT sun played peek-a-boo the entire time, then it rained, and yet I absolutely wouldn’t change a thing. Kelsey has never captured photos during her two previous pregnancies, and I am so honored that I was able to capture her third! This family was so full of love, and capturing kind souls like these four is a constant reminder of why I love being a family photographer so much. My cup is overflowing.

I filmed the Green Family for my first go at a short family film, and while capturing stills, battling the sunshine, and forgetting to video for a good chunk of session, I couldn’t be happier with the results and I’m so excited to capture more video this year! *See the video at the top*

If you would like to book a Vancouver session for your family this summer, check out my FAQ page or contact me for my availability!

At the end of the session, little man told me “We should do this again some time!” in the cutest voice I’ve ever heard. I agree my friend, and I can’t wait!
